GETTING MY GOODS FROM THE U.S TO NIGERIA?

  • HOW DO I GET MY GOODS FROM THE U.S AND HAVE THEM DELIVERED TO ME IN NIGERIA?

 

You can have your goods sent to you using any of the methods listed.

  1. Bring them physically to our drop off office in New Jersey (Note: If dropping off in person, please make sure your tell them you're dropping off on the bowman courier)

  2. ALL pkgs MUST be labelled and addressed as shown below in order to guarantee receipt of your pkgs.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ITEMS TO GET TO NIGERIA?

 

When items get to our office, we usually ship them out on the weekends and it takes 7-10days for items to reach our Lagos office from when it ships out of the U.S.A. The cut off for weekend shipment is thursday evening, for more information, Please call +19082486427, +2347033788067 or Email: bowmancourier@gmail.com, 

 

  • CAN I GET INSURANCE ON MY SHIPMENT IN CASE OF LOSS OR DAMAGE?

YES. Insurance costs start at $45 for the average shipments and can increase depending on the declared value of the shipment.

 

  • HOW DO I ORDER GOODS ONLINE?

 

When ordering goods online you can use any acceptable credit/debit card of your choice. Most Stores/Vendor accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER CARDS and Paypal is also accepted on a lot of sites. When delivering your goods to our office please send an email which includes your Name, Phone # or email address. (For new customers, we will require that you send a copy of your drivers license OR passport OR any government issued ID. The purchase name, credit card name and delivery name on your pkgs to our warehouse must match)

  • WHAT IS ACTUAL OR VOLUME WEIGHT?

 

When your packages are being sent out to Nigeria, Bowman Courier will weigh and measure them for accurate shipping charges.

Actual weight is the exact scale weight of your item. Same thing as when you stand on a scale to weigh yourself, the weight that the scale gives you is your actual weight.

Volume weight is the weight from all dimensions of your package (LxWxH)/166. You can click this link and insert your dimensions to calculate volume weight. (http://burtini.ca/metrology/calc_dim.html)

For all international packages, the chargeable weight is the larger of either volume of actual weight. If your volume weight is 37lbs and the actual weight is 33lbs, your chargeable weight will be 37lbs.

 

  • DO I PAY CUSTOMS CLEARING FEES IN NIGERIA?

 

NO! You will NOT be paying any customs/clearance or agent fees. Our charges are inclusive of all those fees(as long as the items are not labelled special duty items with customs).

 

  • HOW DO I PAY MY SHIPPING FEES?

 

You can make payment into any of our bank accounts in Nigeria and in the United States please request these by email if you need them for payment. Send all emails to: bowmancourier@gmail.com OR call: +19082486427, +2347033788067

Checks will be accepted in the United States and cashed immediately in order not to delay shipment.

**NOTE: For record and safety reasons, we do not accept cash at our locations.**

 

  • DO I MAKE PAYMENT SAME DAY AS SHIPMENT OR CAN I PAY LATER IN NIGERIA?

 

Payment for ALL invoices are due within 24hrs of receiving the invoice. We send out Invoices between Fridays and Sundays. Payment is due by the next Monday. 

 

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO PICK UP MY PKGS IN NIGERIA

 

Due to an increased amount of activity from individuals contacting us from Nigeria regarding shipping fraudulently purchased goods. Henceforth, In order to process pkgs for shipment ALL shipments going to Nigeria require the following.

A valid invoice of the items delivered to our office showing the purchasers name and contact.

A valid copy of the credit card owners government issued picture ID or drivers license or passport
